Description

NA The Nashville District Corps of Engineers is soliciting quotes for rehabilitation of a freight elevator at Wolf Creek Power Plant. The contractor shall supply all plant, labor, equipment, materials, hardware, and miscellaneous items necessary to completel y furnish, install, and test a new control system for in accordance with the specifications. The new work shall bring the elevator control and electrical systems and other specified equipment to compliance with the applicable requirements of ASME A17.1, P art XV, and other requirements as specified. Please indicate your availability to proceed with this work as soon as possible. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this work will be available on 6 September 2002. Quotes for the solicitation could be due on or about 23 September 2002. Quotes are to be received by the close of business (4:15 P.M. Central Standard Time) 23 September 2002. The solicitation, DACW62-02-T-0017, is full and open competition under NAICS code 235950, ?Building Equipment and Other Machinery Installation Contractors.? Responsible sources requesting solicitation documents may submit a quote which will be considered by the Agency. Solicitation DACW62-02-T-0017 will be available from http://www.orn.usace.army.mil/contracting by c lose of business on 6 September 2002.
