- Synopsis: This is a noncompetitive acquisition with limited sources to International Enterprises Inc., Sierra Technologies, U.S. Dynamics Corp, and Litton Systems Inc, Airtron Division, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is in support of the APN-169 for the repair of Oscillating Assemblies Units, NSN 5955-01-158-1249, part number 8008-2021-1, BEQ 50 and Switch Assembly Units, NSN 5930-01-216-3233CW, part number 8318-0610-1, BEQ 11. This requirement also includes the Government Furnished Material and End Item Transaction Reporting System (G009) and Maintenance Service Reports requirements. The requirement will include a basic year with four out year options. The required delivery schedule is 30 days after receipt of order or reparable, whichever is later and 48 hours turnaround time for MICAPS. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 15 days after the publication of this notice. The approximate response date will be 30 days following posting of this solicitation in the CBD. The Government does not have data rights, or manufacturing knowledge to permit acquisition from other sources. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
