Description: Avery Ranger District, Shoshone County, Idaho. The project consists of repairs to the existing Allen Ridge Trail Suspension Bridge (120-foot span) No. 17-0.00 over the St. Joe River. The project includes the removal of the existing timber approach span and removal of 125 linear feet of W-Beam guardrail adjacent to the bridge on FH50. Major construction items include construction of a new treated timber approach platform and ramp; installation of 148 linear feet of new W-Beam guardrail; minor quantities of borrow excavation, riprap, crushed aggregate, reinforced concrete and other minor associated work items. Estimated price range between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work date of October 10, 2002 with completion date of July 1, 2003.
