Description

The sacramento Ranger District of the Lincoln National Forest is advertising labor for construting an Aspen Enclosure Fencing Contract. It will be to construct approximately 33,000 feet of 7.9 foot Poly Type plastic fence. The fence will require strands of 12 1/2 gage twisted smooth wire tied to the fence to support the fencing. The fence and support wire will be stapled to live and dead standing trees. The span between trees will be no greater than 50 feet or a 'T' will be installed. All fencing supplies will be supplied by the goverment. The contractor will provide all labor and materials required to construct the fence (example required tools, etc.) and transportation of materials to the job site approximately 25 miles or about 30 minutes driving time from Mayhill, NM where the supplies will be stored. Contract time will be 78 Days. 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds (Apr 1984): Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. 52.232-19 -- Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year (Apr 1984): Funds are not presently available for performance under this contract beyond September 30, 2002. The Government's obligation for performance of this contract beyond that date is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise for performance under this contract beyond September 30, 2002, until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for performance and until the Contractor receives notice of availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. NAIC 115310, this will be set aside for a small business. The Estimate of the project is under $100,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 6, 2002.
