The USDA-Forest Service, Southern Region 8 is soliciting quotes for wildland fire suppression, prescribed fire (aerial ignition), and administrative uses. The helicopter will be based at the Seed Orchard Helibase near Huger, SC (Lat. 33.06 Long 79.46). Contract period: One (1) year with two (2) optional renewal years, November 1-30, 2002 and January 15, 2003 through June 15, 2003, with seven (7) day/week coverage. Availability contract with an estimated 200 flight hours.
