- Description
- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, TX intends to negotiate sole source with BMC Software for continued software maintenance support and for upgrade fees for currently licensed proprietary software. Software maintenance includes providing updates, releases and reasonable technical support. Upgrade fees are the fees associated with installing the software on a higher capacity computer than that currently licensed. The period of performance being considered is for five years (base period and four option years). This is NOT a Request for Proposals from other interested parties. No solicitation document exists and requests for such will not be acknowledged. The determination to open competition based on this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
