- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition. The required service is to provide service/maintenance consisting of two (2) inspections and all intervening service calls for a Baxter AutoScan 4 Analyzer Systems. This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance is 1 Oct 2002 - 30 Sep 2003. Four one-year options may be awarded. The government intends to award on a sole source basis to Dade Behring, Inc.. Dade Behring, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement since they are the original equipment manufacturer and must perform all maintenance/service on their equipment to maintain warranty integrity. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-02-T-0254 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 7699, business size of $5.0M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 811219. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 05 Sep 02 at http://www.eps.gov.
