- Description
- This acquisition is set aside for Indian owned and controlled concerns in accordance with the BUY INDIAN ACT (25 U.S.C. 47). This project will provide for improvements to the existing Quileute Wastewater Treatment Facility, including: Mobilization and Demobilization; Replacement of all surface aerators and controls; Improvements to the existing headworks; Disinfection system; Washdown pressure system; Replacement of the roof on the Laboratory/Control building; Total replacement of the electrical controls and plant electrical system, and O&M tools and supplies to monitor and adjust the operation of the wastewater treatment facility; and all necessary appurtenances for a complete and operational system. The work to be performed will be located on the Quileute Indian Reservation, Clallam County, Washington. The period of performance is 155 calendar days from the notice to proceed date. The estimated range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The anticipated contract will be a firm fixed price contract. BUY AMERICAN ACT APPLIES. Indian preference in hiring, suppliers and subcontractors is required including meeting Quileute Tribal Employment Ordinances. Solicitation documents will be available approximately July 11, 2002.
