Description

NA The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, Jacksonville, FL intends to award a sole source purchase order using authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 with Odom Hydrographic System, Inc., Baton Rouge, LA for Data Acquisition Software (DAS) bundled with PC, Upgraded GEODAS ? Desktop software, and ER Mapper GIS. This procurement shall be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Compatibility limiting features exist. Software and hardware must be fully compatible and interface completely an d correctly as to fit and function in the manner intended with current Odom Multibeam Hydrographic Survey System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purch ase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive pr ocurement. Numbered note 22 applies.
