- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-00-G-0231 with Lockheed Martin Systems Integration (LMSI), Owego, NY for services and supplies required to produce two (2) MH-60R/S Avionics Maintenance Trainers (AMTs) and for services and supplies required to relocate the previously procured AMT and update its operating software with the latest aircraft software release. It is anticipated that one (1) MH-60R/S AMT, the relocation effort and software update will be included as base contract line items (CLINs) in the order, while one (1) MH-60R/S AMT will be included as a priced option CLIN. The AMTs will be full-scale replicas of the forward cabin and crew compartment of the MH-60R/S aircraft and are required in order to provide maintenance training in a realistic environment for transitioning and initial organizational level avionics maintenance technicians. LMSI is the sole developer of the MH-60 common cockpit, including systems software and the manufacturing and integration of systems hardware, and alone possesses the technical data and expertise required to perform this effort.
