Description

The Government intends to award this requirement to L-3 Communications/Aydin Telemetry, however all alternate quotes will be considered. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 2.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested through this announcement. GovWorks,Procurement Operations Branch, Dept of the Interior is procuring for Redstone Technical Test Center, Redstone Arsenal, AL, the following components for shipment to Huntsville, AL, within 6 months after award: 1. PN 4313B-2 Power Combiner, S-Band, 12 each; 2. PN 29686 Power Divider, C-Band, 12 each; 3. PN 29685 Power Divider, S-Band, 12 each; 4. PN 31204 Power Divider, 425 Mhz, 48 each. The Telemetry and Data Reduction Branch of RTTC will use these RF components in the fabrication of Telemetry/Flight Termination systems for Army ATACMS. These systems are being built from an existing and proven drawing package, which specifies the type RF power dividers to be used. These components will perform the critical function of relaying missile data to the ground. All shipping and handling costs must be included in the quoted firm-fixed-price. Commercial item FAR clauses 52.212-1, -3, -4, & -5 apply to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-3 has requirements for completing representations and certifications and may be downloaded from www.arnet.gov. Submit your quote by e-mail or fax to the Contract Specialist, Linda Butler, at lindabutler@windyhillcontracting.com, or Fax @ 540-727-8046. Specify RFQ number and the Offeror's POC and telephone and facsimile numbers and e-mail address in the request. Payment of invoices against the contract will be through electronic funds transfer, and company DUNS and TIN numbers are required prior to award. All responsible and responsive offers will be considered. GovWorks is a Federal Franchise Fund Contracting Office under the authority of the Government Management Reform Act of 1994, and as such provides contracting support to all Federal agencies.
