- Description
- Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools and qualified supervision necessary to replace Main Water Valves at Portland VA Medical Center, Vancouver, WA facility. Work includes general construction, alterations, excavation, asphalt paving repair, concrete repair and mechanical work on water supply system necessary to remove old valves, modify supply piping as necessary to install twenty-seven (27) new water valves, valve boxes, lids, tops, extensions, base pieces, and certain other items. Estimated construction range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code 234910 applies. The bid package will be available on or about 30 Aug 2002 electronically FREE at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation. Copies will be available on CD from the POrtland VA by written request ony, for a nonrefundable fee of $25.00 on certified check or money order. NO fax or telephone requests will be accepted. Bidders are advised that they are reponsible for obtaining all amendments from the internet sites. All questions must be submitted in writing. This solicitation is submitted under the Competitiveness Demonstration Program for full and open competition.
