****************************************************************** THIS SYNOPSIS IS UPDATED 28 AUG 2002 TO CANCEL THE 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE LISTED BELOW. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE FULL AND OPEN. NOTE 1 NO LONGER APPLIES. THE BALANCE OF THE BELOW SYNOPSIS REMAINS UNCHANGED. ****************************************************************** The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for a lease of one (1) Wheeled Excavator with industrial grapple and magnet in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS). The lease period will be 01 Nov 02 (or date of award, whichever is later) through 30 April 03, with two 6 month option periods. Delivery will be FOB destination PSNS, Bremerton, WA 98314. This will be a 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued on or about 28 Aug 02 and will close approximately 9 Sept 02. Specific requirements will be identified in the solicitation. This will be a web posted solicitation and will be posted to http://neco.navy.mil. This is a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which FISCPS will consider. Telephone requests for copies of the solicitation will not be honored. The government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site. Note 1 is applicable.
