Description

Requirement for a base year and four (4) option years of preventive maintenance and emergency repair of the following Bell & Howell mailroom equipment: Mailstar 775 Inserter, Model 28999A, S/N: 47-9580; Mailstar 775 Inserter, Model 3572C, S/N: 40-4529; Smart Feeder/Folder, Model 29000A, S/N: 96120378; ASCOM Meter Base, Model 28925A, S/N: 1464200 and ASCOM Meter Base, Model 28924A, S/N: 1463700. Preventive maintenance/inspections shall be performed six (6) times per year and shall be performed during the first ten (10) days of the month, starting in October. Preventive maintenance actions will be spaced approximately 60 days apart. Vendor will also perform emergency repairs to equipment on an "on-call" basis. Vendor is to provide annual cost of preventive maintenance for each piece of equipment for the base year and each of the four option years. Vendor is to provide hourly rate for emergency service for regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8AM through 5PM), Saturdays, and Sundays/Holidays for the base year and each of the four option years. Contractor must be able to obtain approval from the DFAS Denver Contract Management Branch and Security Office.
