Description
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the Bid Opening Date to 9/5/02 at 3:00pm. Please note that bids may be either mailed to National Park Service, CPM, 100 Alabama St., SW, Atlanta GA, 30303; faxed to (404) 562-3256; or emailed to georgi_wellington@nps.gov. The following is also added: The following are addenda to FAR Clause 521.212-1, paragraph (b) submission of Offerors shall also include: (1) Three References and Contact Names and Telephone Numbers for three similar, recent past performance requirements. FAR Clause 52.212-2, "Evaluation Commercial Items" applies to this solicitation and the following criteria evaluation criteria (arranged in their order of importance) shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Past Performance (2) Technical Capability to meet the Government Requirement and (3) Price. For this solicitation, the factors other than cost or price are significantly more important than cost or price. As proposals become more equal in their technical merit, the evaluated cost or price becomes more important. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The Government may reject any or all offers if such action is in the public interest; accept other than the lowest offer; and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. For technical questions or a site visit, please contact Mike Hosti at (912) 786-4086. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (28-AUG-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 29-AUG-2002. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
