- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, Information Technology Division (AQSS32), Scott AFB IL, intends to issue a SOLE SOURCE GSA SCHEDULE ORDER to Computer Associates International, Inc., 2291 Wood Oak Drive, Herndon, VA 20171 for technical support services to install, test, customize, integrate and implement new releases and upgraded versions of CA proprietary software products (approximately 250). The vendor shall support, at a minimum, the following products: CA-DATACOM/DB, CA-DATAQUERY, CA-ROSCOE, CA-DATADITCIONARY, CA-DISPATCH, CA-APCDOC, CA-ACF2, CA-TOP SECRET, CA-VCSS, CA-EXAMINE, CA-SYSVIEW/E, CA-MIM, CA-INTERTEST, CA-IDEAL, CA-METACOBOL+, CICS-SERVICE FACILITY, CA-1, CA-DOCVIEW, CA-JCLCHECK, CA-LIBRARIAN, CA-OPTIMIZER II, TNGFW, CA-PANVALET, CA-VERIFY, VISION:FLASHPOINT, and VISION:REPORT. The software resides at the Defense Information Systems Agency Systems Support Office Mechanicsburg (DISA SSO-Mechanicsburg). The location is 5450 Carlisle Pike, PO Box 2010, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055-0787. The work performance is at SSO-Mechanicsburg (95%) with secondary performance at other DISA managed DECCs, DECC-Detachments and facilities (5%). The vendor shall provide technical support for problems referred from DISA-SSOs and DECCs. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. Any party who can provide technical support services for the above listed software licenses must indicate their interest by the closing date of this announcement, 12 August 2002. Inquiries made via electronic means are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
