- Description
- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Alaska Troller's Association. for the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) . Purpose of the contract is for retrieving and analyzing stomach contents data collected by participants in the Trawl Log Book Program to determine seasonal, annual and spatial changes in Gulf of Alaska Forage Fish Communities. Data for this contract was collected by fishermen associated in the Alaska Troller's Association (ATA), the ATA has also managed the collection and storage of the data. This contract calls for the rescue of the logbook data which is the property of ATA and the development of a database for use by the public. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00.
