- Description
- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Michael Eitner for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Purpose of the contract is for search of literature for compilation and analysis of data on the age/size composition of prey in diets of predatory species with emphasis on marine mammals and their feeding on commercially important fish. The objective is to characterize the allocation of mortality by various species of predators in their consumption of prey by age and/or size to describe patterns related to type of predators and prey involved. Provision of the data acquired and a report of the results will be required and must contain a presentation of results in terms of patterns observed in age/size specificity of predation. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000.00.
