- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This is a100 % Small Business Set-Aside and the NAICS Code is 541611. The purpose of the procurement is to develop a series of seminars designed to increase the knowledge base of HRSA staff about minority health issues. HRSA's Office of Minority Health (OMH) is an integral component to translate into a strategy to focus on eliminating barriers to care, eliminate health disparities, assure quality of care and improve public health and health cares systems. OMH provides leadership and guidance through HRSA to assist the Agency to improve the health status of racial/ethnic minorities. The contractor shall develop a series of eight seminars during an eight-month period. The contractor shall identify the speakers, coordinate travel and payment of expenses and honorariums to speakers; take responsibility for logistics and marketing, develop educational training material, formulate and administer an evaluation tool to participants, obtain background information on the audience participating in the seminars and provide a final report to OMH on each of the series. The period of performance is one year. Solicitations will be issued on or about August 20, 2002. The closing date will be on September 4, 2002, at no later than 4:00 pm local prevailing time.
