- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to award a sole source purchase order to TBP Services, Inc., Gaston SC, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for 780 cases of industrial wiping tissue paper, 2 ply, for windshields, machines, hands, etc., strong, soft non-linting, in dispenser box, open sheet size approximately 10" x 12", 125 sheets/box, 15 bx/cs; and 190 cases of light duty textured rayon wipes, single ply, boxed c-fold, 14" x 21.5", 40 per pkg, 6 pkg/cs (240 wipes/case). This will be a term purchase order for the period August 27, 2002, through August 26, 2003. Delivery is to be made on an as needed basis through this period . All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of date of notice to Elaine Shoaf at the above address or email shoaf1@niehs.nih.gov for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with TBP Services, Inc.. The NAICS Code/Size is 422130/100EM. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. There is no solicitation package available.
