- On May 31, 2002 the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provided a market survey to industry in an effort to ascertain whether adequate competition and capabilities exist to set-aside this procurement amongst 8(a)'s, socially economically disadvantaged, or other small businesses. After a careful analysis of all responses to the market survey it is the determination of the FAA that this procurement will be a small business set-aside.
