Description

The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Naval Engineering Division, intends to contract labor and equipment to remove the flight deck covering system and replace it IAW the flight deck covering system that will be attached with the quote package, onboard the USCGC Polar(WAGB-11)located at TODD Pacific Shipyards Corp, 1806-16th Ave S.W., Seattle WA(206)623-1635, beginning 29 August 02, at 0800 and to be completed by COB, 09 September 02. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acqisition Procedures. Attention: Minority Women Owned and Disadvatage Business Enterprises, The Department of Transportation(DOT), office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization(osdbu), has a program to assist minority, women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending progam(STLP)at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
