- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM/ARDEC is contemplating issuing a purchase order to Microdyne Communication Technologies, Inc., Ocala, Florida on a sole source basis for a ?Receiver Base Chassis? and a ?Wideband Receiver Base? for use in telemetry applications, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The receivers are being purchased from Microdyne, sole source, because they are compatible with the telemetry systems currently being operated and because they contain unique features of a highly useful nature no other receiver manufacturer can duplicate. This notice does not constitute an RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. See Numbered Note 22.
