Description

NA This synopsis was originally issued on or about 15 April 2002 but document release was delayed. This is an amendment to the original. Release date for documents has been amended to reflect current information. The United States Army Communications Electr onics Command (CECOM) intends to acquire Product Improved Combat Vehicle Crewman (PI CVC) Headset, Electrical, NSN: 5965-01-464-0220, P/O PI CVC Headset-Microphone (H-374(v)/VRC, presently used with intercommunication set AN/VIC-3(V). This requirement sh all be manufactured IAW the performance based statement of work using drawing #A3206613 and all other associated drawings for dimension guidance. Solicitation will include first article testing and various data items as required. The requirement will be c ompetitively awarded under source selection procedures as a five (5) year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The minimum quantity of 156 each will be ordered at contract award with a maximum ordering pote ntial of 20,000 over the five (5) years. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website to allow electronic transmittal of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Invitation for B ids (IFBs) from CECOM to Industry.
