- NA The U.S. Army CECOM NVESD, Countermine Division is seeking a small commercially available stabilized gimbal to carry an IR payload under a small UAV. Plans are to integrate a Government Furnished (GFE) IR payload (NYTECH Model MMD-U3000 320x240 uncooled M icrobolometer) into an off-the-shelf gimbal with the following combined gimbal/payload specifications: The combined gimbal and payload requirements are: under 27 lbs, 3.5A, 5-28VDC, RS-232 controller interface, Duel Color CCD & GFE IR cameras, and independ ent gimbal control & video downlink. Any commercially available gimbal/IR payload combinations that meet the above specification will also be considered. The following (5) specific areas of information are required for each gimbal candidate: 1.) Company's name, address, technical point of contact, and telephone number or email address; 2.) A technical description of the gimbal including above specs.; 3.) Photograph (s) and brochure of the candidate gimbal; 4.) Transmitter Frequency & Power Specs. 5.) The c ountry of origin of system developer, and origin of key end item components. A response to this source sought shall be at no cost to the government.
