Description
Bureau of Land Management Request for Quotes (RFQ), NAQ020156, Spike 20P Herbicide, 800 bags, 25 pounds each bag. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written notice will not be issued. BLM Arizona Strip Field Office has a need for Spike 20P (Brand name or equal) Herbicide, 800 bags, 25 pounds each bag, to be shipped palleted with 80 bags per pallet. Delivery Schedule: Deliver 800 bags 25 lb each bag, by 9/16/2002. Deliver to BLM Arizona Strip Field Office; 345 E. Riverside Drive, St. George, UT 847990-9000. The salient characteristics of Spike 20P are as follows: 1.) Herbicide that provides long-term control of tough brush species including big sage, shinnery oak, tarbush and creosote bush. 2.) A surface-applied herbicide labeled for woody plant control in rangeland, pastures, clearings for wildlife, fence rows, firebreaks and other non-cropland areas, including along highways, pipelines, industrial sites and railroad and utility rights-of-way. Brand Name is: Spike 20P made by Dow AgroSciences; Active Ingredient: tebuthiuron: [5-(1,1-dimethylethyl) -1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl]-N,N'-dimethylurea - 20%; Intert Ingredients - 80%. This is a 100% set-aside for small business (See Note 1). The standard NAICS/SIC classification is 42290/5191. Size standard is 100 employees.
