- Description
- The Government intends to purchase 5 each Mega-RAID 1.92TB RAID complete storage solution with drives that use the ARENA INDY 12 as the RAID enclosure. We require a complete RAID solution utilizing the INDY 12 RAID. The Arena brand is required to meet the stringent criteria and compatibility with the existing system. The INDY 12 RAID must have the the following specifications: Arena Indy 12 Specifications; Controller CPU: Intel i80303 64-bit RISC Microprocessor; Cache Memory: 128MB SDRAM (expandable to 512MB); RAID Levels: 0, 1, 0+1, 3 or 5; Data Transfer Rate: up to 160MB/sec; Interface; Host Bus: Disk Bus Ultra 160 LVD SCSI; Disk Bus: E-IDE with Ultra DMA Support; HDD Bays: 12; SCSI ID Assignment: 0-15; Driver; Hot Swappable; User Replaceable; Up to Twelve 3.5inch E-IDE Drives (1_ height); Data Rebuild: Automatic Data Regeneration; Power Supply: 2 x 450W Redundant; AC Input Voltage: 115/230V (+/-10), 60/50 Hz; Relative Humidity: 10% to 85% Non-condensing; Operating Temperature: 5C-40C; Hot-Swap Components: HDD Tray, Cooling Fan, Power Supply; Configuration: 19" Rackmount (4U); Dimensions (W x H x D mm ): 483 x 178 x 533 mm; Weight (w/o Disk Drive): 14kg. There are two drive options: Maxtor 4G120J6 (120GB 5400 RPM); IBM 120GXP (120GB 7200 RPM). This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 334112 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The contract shall be firm fixed priced. FOB destination shall apply with delivery two weeks from date of order. Simplified Acquisition Procedures according to FAR 13 will be used. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N00178-02-Q-1039. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capabilities with their fax quote to (540) 653-7088, which shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. This procurement is DO priority rated.
