- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for administrative/clerical support services for the Naval Inventory Control Points (NAVICPs) located in Mechanicsburg, PA and Philadelphia, PA. A twelve month base period and four twelve month option periods are contemplated. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis in accordance with A-76 procedures. This solicitation is part of a Government cost comparison to determine whether accomplishing the specified work under contract or by Government performance is more economical. If Government performance is determined to be more economical, this solicitation will be cancelled and no contract will be awarded. The draft solicitation will be made available electronically by 16 August 2002 at the following website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. This address is: http://www.ccr.edi.disa.mil. All questions pertaining to the draft solicitation and Performance Work Statement shall be submitted to the attention of John Stefano at fax number (215) 697-9569 no later than 6 September 2002. It is anticipated that the final version of the solicitation will be issued during the week of 9 September 2002 to all interested parties that responded to the draft solicitation.
