- Description
- Required to monitor multi-component thrust force of pulse detonation engine and capable of applying calibration loads. The PDMS shall be a self-contained system with high accuracy measurement in all axes with the following requirements and able to withstand peak load value 1.33 times specified capacity: Engine axial thrust, 500 lbf, .25% of full scale; Side loads (lateral), 100 lbf, 0.5%; Vertical loads (normal), 100 lbf, 0.5%; Engine and adapter weight, 750 lbf, .25%; Pitch and yaw less than 3%; Uncertainty of calibration shall be minimum .05% with 99% confidence. Load table shall be flat on top and capable of supporting an engine and engine adapter dead weight of 750 lbs in addition to static load. Complete specifications will be included in RFP. NAICS code is 333999. Anticipate FFP contract. Delivery FOB dest Monterey, CA, within 90 DARO. Potential offerors will be respo nsible for downloading a copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any) from the Navy Electronic Commerce Online web site at http://www.neco.navy.mil no earlier than 10 days from the date of this announcement.
