- Contractor is to furnish primal and case ready smoked pork for commissaries located in the Western Pacific Region for Defense Commissary Agency. The Western Pacific Region includes the following states: Washington, Montana, Idaho, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii. For the purpose of this solicitation, the commissaries in this region are grouped geographically into seven groups that will be specified in the solicitation. The total estimated annual quantity for this requirement is 268,000 pounds of primals and case ready smoked pork products. The required delivery schedule is 7 days from the order date, except for Alaska and Hawaii, which is 14 days. A Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Requirements Type contract is contemplated. The period of performance shall be for one year from date of award plus two one-year option periods. The SIC code is 2011 and the NAICS code is 311611 for this requirement with a size standard of 500 employees. The Request for Quotation will be released on or about August 20, 2002. This solicitation will be issued as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
