- Description
- The USAF Academy intends to solicit proposals for a contract to provide Custodial Services for the Academic Area at the USAF Academy. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and transportation associated with custodial services for the Academic Area. Custodial service shall be provided to approximately 18 buildings and shall include approximately 3 million square feet of building and ground space. Service provided shall also include maintenance of swimming pools at the Cadet Gymnasium and removal of snow from Falcon Stadium. Cleaning materials provided by the contractor shall be in compliance with OSHA and USAFA bioenvironmental standards. This service is subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement No. 91-0024 (Rev 10) Addendum ?A? effective 7/01/02. The following NAICS code, 561720, applies to this solicitation. The contractor is expected to provide the services to the United States Air Force Academy, per the Statement of Work and clauses incorporated in the solicitation numbered F05611-02-R-0027. This competition is: 100% small business set aside, Firm Fixed-Price purchase that will include a basic year with four (4) one-year options. Award will be evaluated on: price and past performance. The solicitation and specifications will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) on approximately 20 June 2002, (all applicable provisions and clauses are included) at www.eps.gov under EPS for Vendors, USAF, Offices, Direct Reporting Units, Locations, 10 ABW/LGC, Posted Dates. No hard copies will be available. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered.
