- The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Engineering and Construction Management (ME-90) intends to award a sole source contract to the Project Performance Corporation (PPC) of McLean VA for a continuation of software maintenance/support for the Department's Project Analysis and Reporting System (PARS), a computer software application developed for DOE by PPC and now in use by DOE organizations nationwide. The proposed contract will be Firm Fixed Price, for a maximum of five years, with a base year and four one-year options, covering Fiscal Years 2003-2007 inclusive. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information to the Government within 15 calendar days after the publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
