Description

THIS IS A MODIFICATION TO THE STATEMENT OF WORK. UNDER THE HEADING OF COUNTERTOPS IN THE FIRST SENTENCE AFTER TASTE PANEL ADD "AND ISLAND CABINET AREA". UNDER THE HEADING OF MISCELLANEOUS WORK DELETE THE SECOND AND THIRD SENTENCES. The contractor shall supply all labor, material, supervision, equipment and transportation to modernize the Taste Panel Room in Building 201, located at the USDA, ARS, BARC, in Beltsville, Maryland in accordance with the Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications. All work is to be completed within 90 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for August 28, 2002, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Building 201, Beltsville, Maryland. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 235990 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as unrestricted, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Circular 2001-07. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about August 8, 2002. If you are unable to download the solicitation , a written request may be submitted to the Contracting Officer requesting a hard copy. Written request only; specifying the RFQ number (3K45-NW-012) submitted to the address above or faxed to 301/504-8696. There will be a limit to the number of hard copies that are issued. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors. Anticipated award date is September 18, 2002.
