Description

Project 02-0030, Solicitation No. F21611-02-T0017, Reside Buildings 725 and 727 consists of removal and disposal of transite (asbestos) siding and awnings. The removal and re-hanging of gutters and downspouts. Furnish and install extruded polystyrene foam insulation underlayment sheets (1/4 inch thick) over sheathing of both buildings. Re-side both buildings with 0.016inch steel siding, horizontal double, 4 in. or 5 in. pattern, light wood grain texture, PVC coated exterior. Install soffits with similar material. Buildings 725 and 727 to receive this work are both 2-story gabled single family housing units with a combined exterior surface of 4200 square feet. One of the buildings has a one story addition (included in the 4200 SF). The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 45 calendar days. The NAICS code is 235610. The size standard is $12 Million. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued o/a 12 Sept 02 and opened 23 Sept 02. This acquisition is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is therefore unrestricted. All requests for bid packages must be submitted in writing via fax or email, verbal requests will not be honored.
