Description

Modification #02 to Synopsis #02SQ110019, posted August 16, 2002 - The following digital files will be made available upon request to dfornshell@pn.usbr.gov. : 1) .pdf document containing a color version of the map that was distributed with the RFQ 2) an ESRI shapefile of the general outline of Bureau of Reclamation land interest. 3) an ESRI shapefile of the shoreline of the reservoir as depicted on USGS 7.5' quads. The shapefiles will be in UTM, meters, zone11, nad27. All other GIS data layers or other spatial files related to this project will be made available to the successful candidate on an as needed basis. Selection Criteria - The work will be awarded based on the criteria listed below. The right is reserved to reject any and all submittals not conforming to the intent and purpose of this request for bids, whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of the BOR. A. Experience of the firm with similar projects-(15%) 1. Experience working with federal government contracts. 2. Experience developing orthophotography for high resolution, small scale mapping projects. 3. Experience developing orthophotography using state-of-the-art technology with emphasis on experience developing accurate small interval contours. B. Experience of personnel assigned to the project-(20%) 1. Experience in photogrammetry projects, including any certified photogrammetrists involved in the project . 2. Experience capturing the information necessary to create digital terrain models and contours. 3. Experience developing orthophotography. C. Number, location, and availability of qualified personnel and equipment-(15%) 1. Ability to deploy surveying personnel to Lake Cascade, Idaho to complete the flight time required for this project. 2. Ability to deploy equipment and personnel to Lake Cascade, Idaho to complete the aerial photography in the desired manner and time frame. 3. Ability to keep the same personnel and equipment available on each phase and step of the project for the duration of the project. D. Project Approach-20%) 1. Ability to demonstrate how the project approach will meet or exceed the goals of this project. 2. Ability to keep clients involved and informed of project progress and decision points. 3. Innovative approaches to minimize cost while retaining the highest product quality. 4. QA / QC plans and procedures. 5. Ability to deliver digital orthophotos and contour products in formats readable by the BOR - (10%). a. Ability to provide deliverable data in the formats described in the RFQ. 6. Total cost of the work-(20%).
