- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contract Line Items (CLIN) Clin 001: 15 ea. 100-watt Dynamax Siren Speaker, with standard bail bracket mount kit (#MS100-01) Clin 002: 15 ea. 100 watt electronic undercover mini-siren with remote switches and intersection clearing feature-federal signal undercover siren (#ms4000u) Clin 003: Headlight Flasher Unit, #FA4C-RDG Clin 004: Single Head, self-contained strobe, suction cup mt/cig. plug, red, (#VPR-SCS1-03) Ref #: CS-i-02-24851 is a request for quote under FAR 13. Fob Destination pricing required. The provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-8. This requirement is a small business set aside. NAICS code: 334290. Size standard less than 750 employees averaged over 12 months. The following Provisions and Clauses are applicable: The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications-Commercial Item 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All equipment will be new equipment. This is a brand name sole source requirement. No substitutions will be accepted. All those who can offer the items required who meet the responsive, responsible and technical requirements will be considered for award. Award will be made based upon the lowest priced item all other factors of responsive, responsible and meeting technical requirements included in the evaluation.
