Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, Purchase Requests (PRs) FU044122170200 and FU044121910400, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). PR FU044122170200 is for four (4) each ? Antares Microsystems ? PCI Quad Port Gigabit Ethernet, Four Channel 100Base-T Switched Gigabit Ethernet Controllers, Antares Microsystems P/N P-0085 and PR FU044121910400 is for eleven (11) each Antares Microsystems ? PCI Quad Prot Gigabit Ethernet, Four Channel 1000Base-T Switched Gigabit Ethernet Controllers, Antares Microsystems P/N P-0095; ten (10) each Antares Microsystems ? PCI Gigabit Ethernet NIC, PCI 100Base-T Gigabit Ethernet, Antares Microsystems P/N P-1055; and two (2) each Phobos Peripherals ? PCI Single Prot Fast Ethernet Adapter with Optical Interconnect, Phobos Peripherals P/N P100SC. The proposed solicitation listed here is set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3672, the North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334412 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Vendor must be actively enrolled within the DOD Central Contractor Registration program. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item does not apply. The Government will award an order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government price and availability considered. The Government reserves the right to award each purchase request (PR) separately and independent of the other PR. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items must be completed and submitted with offers. The following clauses/provisions are incorporated in this RFQ and will be incorporated into the subsequent award(s) by reference: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Apr 2001) (Deviation); FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration; DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commerci9al Items; DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program; and DFARS 252.225-7036, North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act (AltI).
