Description
The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/NOAA/Office of Global Programs intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the University of New Mexico to conduct a study entitled: Decadal Modulation of Interannual Predictability of Snowpack and Summer Rainfall Across the Southwest U.S. The project is intended to develop a long-term collaboration between Climate Assessment of the Southwest (CLIMAS) and the University of New Mexico (UNM) to participate in regional stakeholder-driven enhancement of seasonal-interannual climate prediction efforts and complement ongoing research by CLIMAS researchers on seasonal predictability of hydrologic variables across the Southwest. This is a notice of intent with no solicitation package available. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures.
