Description
NAICS : 332420 Size Standard : 500 DESCRIPTION : (SEE NOTE 22) This proposed procurement is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with :Kvaerner Masa Marine, Inc, Suite 202, 201 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21410. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to purchase additional (4) Four Stability Trainers, which incorporate the following : 1/16th size model of a Fishing Vessel. Fiberglass water tank for demostration of the model. These models have already been specifically designed and developed by Kvaerner Masa Marine to USCG requirements. In order to compete for this project, interested parties must demonstrate that they are qualified to perform the work by providing firm-fixed Proposal. Electronic transmissions to mstorino@comdt.uscg.mil are acceptable, but must be timely. Proposal Evaluation Criteria: (1) Price and price-related factors. (2)Technical Evaluations. (3) Past Performace. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations clauses are attached: FAR 52.213-4, Other than Commercial Items. Questions about this requirement must be in writing and submitted by fax or e-mail. Telephone inquiries are strongly discouraged. All inquiries must include the solicitation number, your full name, organization name, address, phone and fax numbers, and must be received by 12:00 (noon) ET, September 13th, 2002. A Determination by the government not to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (SEE NOTE 22) It is the responsibility of the Offeror to ensure the proposal is received by the date and time shown above. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
