Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Operations Systems Center (OSC) in Kearneysville, WV intends to negotiate with Peregrine Remedy, Inc., 592 Stoneridge Drive, Pleasonton, CA 94588, on other than full and open competitive basis for licensing support for the OSC's Action Request System. The items to be supported are as follows: 1 each Remedy AR System Full Text Search Fixed License 25-PK; 1 each Remedy AR System Floating Write License UNIX 5-PK; 1 each AR System Floating Write License Windows 5-PK; 1 each Remedy AR System Fixed Write License Remedy AR System Fixed Write License UNIX 5-PK UNIX 5-PK; 7 each Remedy AR System Fixed Write License Windows 5-PK; 1 each Remedy AR System (English) Server DEV LSN; 1 each Remedy AR System Server w/o Multi-Threaded Option Windows; 1 each RemedyFlashboard Server with PMO Windows; 8 each Remedy Help Desk Fixed LSN 5-PK; 2 each Remedy Help Desk Floating Full LSN 5-PK; 2 each Remedy Help Desk floating LSN 5-PK; 2 each Remedy Help Desk Floating LSN 5-PK Hot BKUP; 1 each Remedy Help Desk Fixed Full LSN 5-PK; 1 each Remedy Help Desk APP Upgrade; and 1 each Remedy AR System Floating Write LSN 5-PK (AR-LL-5L-AP). The OSC's Remedy Action Request System is used for cradle-to-grave tracing of end-user trouble calls, resource allocation, and configuration management requirements. The OSC's Remedy Action Request System is the primary means of work assignment and employee tracking. Remedy Reports are used to determine staffing requirements and justify funding requests. As a COTS product tailored to a very specific user community(Helpdesk/CRM), Peregrine Remedy, Inc., is the only vendor available to provide the scope and service required for supporting the OSC's enterprise suite of Remedy products.
