Description
PHD NSWC Intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a contract with a combination of Time and Material (T&M) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract on a competitive basis for a base year and four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 541330, Dollars: 23Million. The contractor effort required will support the Missile and Launching Systems Department (M/LSD) in service engineering responsibilities. MK 41 Vertical Launching System technical training support and field engineering and technical services. The contractor will provide qualified instructors and personnel to conduct training courses, update existing courses and develop new courses and provide engineering/field engineering and technical services. Time and Material portion will support Training for MK 41 Vertical Launching Sys tem, training for the operation and maintenance, repair, installation, and system interface of the MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS). The Cost Plus Fixed Fee portion will support Engineering/Field Service which include engineering and technical services of MK 41 VLS during installation and checkout (INCO), alignment matters, installation and related problem resolution and reports to identify and resolve equipment and installation problems, discrepancies of VLS and update corresponding data. All contractor personnel operating or performing work on any launcher equipment shall possess a current VLS System Maintenance Technician (SMT) or Test Director (TD) certification in accordance with NAVSEAINST 8394.2D A security Clearance at the level of SECRET is required. The estimated level of effort T&M 73,992 hours and CPFF 81,192 for a total of 155,185 hours during the estimated life of the contract.
