Description

This acquisition is set-aside for Indian-owned and controlled concerns in accordance with the BUY INDIAN ACT (25 U.S.C. 47). The project consists of construction of a degasifier and clearwell with modifications to the existing control panel, and the construction of two soda ash injection assemblies with accompanying controls, and all necessary appurtenances for a complete and operational system. The project is located on the Sauk Suiattle Indian Reservation, Skagit County, Washington. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance is 120 calendar days. The estimated range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Liquidated damages shall apply. THE BUY AMERICAN ACT APPLIES. Indian preference in hiring, suppliers, and subcontractors is required, including meeting respective Tribal ordinances. Solicitation documents will be available approximately 9/20/2002.
