- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. Submit offers on R M L RFQ 2038. Receipt of quotations will be due ten days (10) after the publication date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 dated 08/30/02. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 334516 the size standard is 500. SCHEDULE: The Rocky Mountain Laboratory has a requirement for a Kodak Image Station 1000 System or equal. FOB Point shall be Destination, Hamilton, MT. Inside delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Delivery location is Rocky Mountain Laboratories, 903 South 4th Street, Hamilton, MT. It is mandatory that the Image Station 1000 system purchased have the following features: (1) The Image Station 1000 System unit. (2) Firewire (IEEE 1394) interface. (3) 600 WB 35 Interference Filter (ethidium bromide, Cy 3.5, ruby red, Texas red, ruby orange). (4) Kodak 1D Image Analysis Software including 3 licenses (2 PC, 1 Mac). (5) Windows IBM compatible PC Computer ? Lap top ? with Pentium II or III processor, manufacturers warranty, CD-RW and Ethernet network board. (6) Operators Manuals. (7) On-site Installation. (8) On-site Training (4hrs) for 3 people. (9) Twelve (12) month minimum warranty. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors?Commercial; Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation?Commercial Items; RFQ will be evaluated on the following criteria. The government intends to make an award based on: (1) The Government technical specifications requested in #1-#9 above. (2) Price. (3) Delivery - (Delivery Warranty information to include period of coverage shall be stated) Including the Software License Agreement involved. FAR 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; FAR 52-212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders?Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
