Description

This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. Lackland AFB intends to issue an award to Gate gourmet, for the disposal of international waste generated from the galley of international flights arriving at the Kelly field Annex. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision used in the disposal of international waste as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW). Performance is 1 Oct 02 to 30 Sept 03, with an additional 4 option years. All work related to this process will be conducted at a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) approved facility. Facility and processes shall comply with Federal and State rules/regulations as they pertain to the disposal of international waste. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirement at prices, terms and conditions equal to or better than those that can be provided by Gate Gourmet, should submit clear and convincing data in writing substantiating an ability to furnish the entire requirement. This office must receive all responses to this synopsis within 5 business days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Any response should be sent to the following address: 37 CONS/LGCAE, 1655 Selfridge Ave., Lackland AFB TX 78236-5263. If no compelling responses are received, award will be made to Gate Gourmet.
