Description

THIS MODIFICATION IS TO EXTEND THE DESCRIPTION PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED: THIS NOTICE IS FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. The NFEC Southern Division ROICC Atlanta Area Office of Contracting is currently seeking small business contractors who will provide all labor, materials, transportation, supervision, and equipment to maintain the elevator systems as described herein, including but not limited to, performing emergency work, routine service work, preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, reporting of condition, repair, and component replacement as required, as specified in Solicitation N62467-02-B-3204. The resultant contract will be for a one (1) Base year and four (4) Option years. The aforementioned is not intended to be all, inclusive but rather to provide an overview of the specifications. IFB will be available on or about 30 AUGUST 2002. Plans and specifications can be obtained via internet website www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Funds are presently not available for this project. Prospective proposers are encouraged to register at the web site. This will normally be the only method of distribution of amendments, therefore it is the proposers?s responsibility to periodically check the web site for amendments to the solicitation. The official plan holders list will also be maintained on and can be printed from the web site. The bid opening is 19 September 2002, 3:00 PM ET. Questions concerning the solicitation may be submitted via email to tysonmr@efdsouth.navfac.navy.mil or faxed to 678-655-6800. The contract includes providing all labor, tools, equipment, material, transportation, supervision, incidental engineering and management required to maintain the elevator systems as described herein, including but not limited to, performing emergency work, routine service work, preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, reporting of condition, repair, and component replacement as required.
