- This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is an RFQ and the solicitation number is DAAE30- 02-Q-1063. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The US Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to award a purchase order for a quantity of 7 each TX40-SX03 telemetry transmitters to L-3 Communications, Aydin Telemetry, Newtown, PA on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) only one responsible source. Delivery shall be made no later than 15 January 2003 to Building 91, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. The F.O.B. point shall be the destination.. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statute or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited in the above referenced clause shall apply to this acquisition; FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition on Segregated Facilities, FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities, FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, FAR 52.222-19, Child Labor ? Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies, FAR 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases, FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer ? Central Contractor Registration. The DPAS rating for this acquisition is DOA6. This solicitation is sole-source. Proposal is due by 4PM EDT, Friday 13 September 2002 at Building 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
