The 347 Contracting Squadron/MSCB is seeking sources to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for repair and maintenance of 48 assigned All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) at Moody AFB, GA approximately 10 miles north of Valdosta, GA. This effort will be for a base year (1 Oct 02 ? 30 Sep 03) plus four one-year options. Payment via Government Visa Purchase Card (GPC). The North American Industry Classification Code is 441221 (SIC 5571). Provide maintenance and repairs of assigned All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) for the 820th Security Forces Group at Moody AFB, GA. STATEMENT OF WORK IN SUPPORT OF THE 820th Security Forces Group (820 SFG) 1.0 INTRODUCTION 1.1. Purpose. The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to obtain and sustain a service contract in order to maintain and repair our assigned ATVs (48 each) for worldwide deployments and deployment training. 1.2. Background. ATV?s are authorized equipment items on all our Unit Type Codes (UTC) supporting three Force Protection Squadrons with a worldwide mobility mission. In executing the unit mission of providing a secure operating environment at forward airfields, the 820 SFG must deploy operational ATVs to austere locations. These vehicles are used daily for installation patrols, security missions, supply runs, rations deliveries, ammunitions re-supply, water re-supply, transporting casualties and enemy prisoners, and numerous other functions during a deployment. In addition, during in-garrison training these assets must be operational for certification training, which is mandated by Federal Statutes. The serviceability of the assigned ATVs is critical for mission success. 1.3. Scope. This SOW addresses the service provided to the 820 SFG whom ever is selected to support this SOW. 2.0. CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS. 2.1. Contractor will provide a cost estimate of all work prior to accomplishing any repairs or maintenance on any ATV. 2.2. Contractor shall stock sufficient parts to perform general and specialized maintenance on both the Honda TRX 300 FW Fourtrax and the TRX 350 FM/FE Rancher. This includes but is not limited to tires, wheels, spark plugs, spark plug wires, carburetor parts, brake parts and pads, brake cables, brake levers, shift levers, throttle cables, choke cables, headlamp assemblies, ignitions, oil filters, air filters and YTX 14 BS batteries. 2.3. Contractor will perform work in a reasonable amount of time. Although the 820th SFG attempts to keep ATVs in a high state of readiness, said contractor must be prepared to support short notice maintenance requirements. 2.4. Contractor shall have the capability to perform general/specialized maintenance on multiple ATV simultaneously. 2.5. Contractor shall assume responsibility for any loss or damage to ATVs while on contractor premises (this includes loading/unloading of ATVs, fire, theft, dents and cuts). 3.0. 820 SFG REQUIREMENTS. 3.1. The 820 SFG will transport ATVs to and from the selected location. 3.2. Upon arrival at contractor location, 820 SFG shall provide contractor with general/specialized service requirements for each machine.
