Description

The Contracting Officer requests industry review, comments, and recommendations on the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for the maintenance of 2,658 Military Family Housing units at Hickam AFB and Bellows AFS, Hawaii. In addition, a market research is being conducted to determine whether the requirement is commercial or non-commercial and whether sources of services are available in the small business and/or 8(a) community as well as HUBZone areas. Small business, 8(a) and HUBZone business concerns must provide past performance of similar requirements and capabilities to perform the same. The NAICS Code for the service is 235990 with size standard of $12M and the SIC is 1799. The estimated cost is over $5M per year. Funds are not currently available for this acquisition. The contemplated performance period is one basic year with four, one-year option periods. The Government would like comments for improving our document and to take advantage of the best ideas in the market place. This synopsis is for information purposes only and any information submitted is voluntary. As such, the Government will not cover any costs for any information or inquiry submitted as a result of this request. The Government will consider all information received when preparing a final SOW and issuing of the solicitation, however, any and all changes are at the sole discretion of the Government. We anticipate issuance of the solicitation on or about 1 Nov 02. Once available, the solicitation will be downloaded from www.eps.gov, as no paper copies will be issued.
