Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: NA The item to procure is a transport and storage case used for transportation of equipment on the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Contact Maintenance Vehicle.The case provides content retention during transportation and rough handling. The actual exterior dimen sions of the case, including handles, stacking features, etc., shall be no more than 10 inches in height, 21 inches in width, and 33.25 inches in length. The interior of the case shall accommodate a volume of no less than 4200 cubic inches. A detailed de scription of purchase will be provided as an attachment to the solicitation. The Request for Proposal will be issued under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The estimated date of issue is 23 Sep 02. Deliveries are FOB destination. The acquisition is anticipated to result in the award of a (3) three year Indefinite Del ivery Indefinite Quantity contract (IDIQ) with a minimum quantity of 152 each and a maximum quantity of 358 each over the three years. The minimum guaranteed quantity of 152 each will be ordered concurrently with the award of the contract. The solicitatio n will be issued as a small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); hardcopies will not be provided.
