Description: NA The work consists of dredging approximately 1,200,000 cubic yards of dredged maintenance material from a project channel with a width of 225 ? 215 feet to a required depth of 22 ? 16 feet below (Mean Low Tide) and 2 feet of allowable over-depth. Dredge ma terial shall be placed in unconfined, semi-confined, beach nourishment, and confined Placement Areas. Raising of Placement Area Levees, installation of new drop outlets and repair of existing drop-outlets. The estimated cost range for this project is from $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 234990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. The plans and specifications have been place on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge on the issue date. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any chang es to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
